Publication BCT-CCC-3 contains two volumes of the Circuit Court Minutes of Bedford County, Tennessee. The first volume is Circuit Court Minutes from Aug 1859 - Aug 1860, contains 620 pages and includes a handwritten index. There is a new, typewritten index to the first volume. The second volume is Circuit Court Enrollments from Aug 1861 - Aug 1867, contains 480 pages, and is not indexed. An index to the second volume is being prepared and will be posted here. All pages in this publication can be directly accessed by page number - no need to search through a roll of microfilm to find the page of interest. Pages can be printed directly on most printers attached to your local computer - no need to pay the high copying costs at a library or archives and accept the poor quality prints produced by most microfilm printers. This is the first time that these records have ever been made available to researchers on a media other than microfilm.
The page images contained in this product were prepared from microfilm published by the Tennessee State Library and Archives (TSLA). The original, handwritten records are on Roll 3 in Bedford County, Tennessee Record Group at TSLA.
