MMS is a Monitoring and Measurement System for studying, evaluating, and exploiting communications traffic. One use of MMS is in evaluating the effectiveness of on-going collaboration, computing and displaying various metrics in real time concerning the effectiveness of the collaborative work. MMS is also very useful for analyzing and evaluating previously captured/intercepted communications traffic. A paper and a presentation about MMS from the 10th International Command and Control Research and Technology Symposium held in June 2005 in McLean, Virginia are available.
