GSC Associates provides systems engineering services for our clients. These include:

System Concepts: We have extensive experience in conceptualizing new systems or products and writing top-level Concepts and Requirements documents that are the starting point for a development effort. As part of this process we consider cost and risk, the maturity of emerging technologies, the capabilities of your organization and the desires of users and customers. We divide a system or product into constituent elements, defining the functionality of each and the necessary interfaces.
Studies: As part of the system engineering process we define engineering and trade studies to evaluate and contrast alternatives, determine the feasibility or cost of requirements, and to select the best approach.
System and Product Specifications: We write specifications for system and products. These range from top level concepts to detailed design specifications and interface definition and control documents. Our most recent work is in the area of Internet appliances, Home Gateways, and spatial information processing.
Performance: We define performance requirements, perform modeling and simulation to project performance and compare alternative approaches, and validate that systems or products meet performance requirements by conducting tests and making measurements.
