GSC Associates provides contract development services to meet all or a part of your hardware and software development needs. In addition to our system engineering services described elsewhere on this site, we also develop and test both hardware and software based on specifications and concepts developed by ourselves or others. Our services include:
Hardware Development: We develop analog and digital hardware. Some recent projects have included internet appliances, modems, home network components, home management and automation controllers and interfaces and special purpose PC interfaces.
Software Development: We develop computer software, including complete applications, special purpose drivers, and component software libraries. Our expertise includes most modern programming languages (C, C++, Java, Visual Basic, FORTRAN, assembly languages, etc.) on the most common platforms (PCs, Macintosh, Unix, Linux, microcontrollers, etc.)
Integration and Test: We integrate and test hardware and software developed by ourselves or others. We write and conduct integration tests, troubleshoot, identify and correct problems and make the constituent elements of a product or system work as a harmonious whole.
Acceptance Test: We write and conduct formal Acceptance Tests to verify that a system or product meets its requirements. We do this for system or products developed by ourselves or others. This includes helping our clients determine whether to accept and pay for the work of another contractor.
Delivery, Installation and Sell-off: We have extensive experience is installing, delivering and turning over complex systems to demanding customers. We assist our clients in managing and performing all aspects of this process, especially for systems developed for governments.
